The Ceremony

For couples whose reception venue has a strong in-house manager, and who want the ceremony itself handled properly.

- One planning call
- About four weeks out, an hour on the phone. We go through what you've booked, what's still loose, and how you want the day to feel.
- Review of your run sheet
- You write the timeline, I read it properly and send back notes — where it's too tight, what's been missed, and what your vendors will need that isn't there yet.
- Vendors confirmed beforehand
- In the final week I contact every supplier to confirm arrival times, access and setup requirements. From that point, they call me instead of you.
- Ceremony run start to finish
- Chairs and styling in place, guests seated, music cued, wedding party lined up and sent down the aisle on time. Confetti handed out, then family gathered for photos so nobody wanders off.
- Ceremony pack down
- Signage, styling and hire pieces collected and stacked for pickup once guests move on, so the site is clear and nothing is left behind.

- One early to shape the plan, one closer to the day to lock it in. Both booked in advance so they don't get lost in the last-minute rush.
- We build the run sheet together
- Rather than handing me a finished timeline, we work through it side by side — you know your families, I know how long things actually take.
- Venue walkthrough
- I visit the venue with you before the day to sort floor plan, power, wet weather plan and where everything physically goes.
- Rehearsal run the day before
- An hour with your wedding party and celebrant. Everyone walks it once, learns where to stand and what they're holding, so the ceremony isn't the first attempt.
- Eight hours on site
- Setup through to the first dance. I cue speeches, keep the kitchen and the MC on the same page, and fix the things you never hear about.

- Spread across the months before the wedding, so decisions get made steadily rather than all at once in the final fortnight.
- Your run sheet written for you
- I write the whole timed plan from scratch — arrivals, setup, ceremony, photos, entries, speeches. You read it and approve it, then everyone works from it.
- Ceremony and reception styling set up
- Signage, place cards, menus, table numbers, candles, guestbook and favours all placed. As a signage and decor maker, this is the part I've been doing for years.
- Pack down at the end of the night
- Styling and hire items collected, sorted and stacked for pickup, and the venue left the way the contract says it should be.
- Ten hours on site
- From early setup through to close. This is the version where you genuinely hand the day over.
